What was new in September? Update #41

Following the resignation of Boris Johnson, the leadership contest, and finally the arrival of Liz Truss in Number 10, we’ve been keen to see what this means for the care reforms in England. For the six “Trailblazer” local authorities that are due to implement the government’s reforms from January, any uncertainty must be particularly concerning.

What was new in March? Update #35

In March we focussed entirely on completing our new, 44-page consumer-facing guide to NHS Continuing Health Care and publishing it on Care Box. We’re excited to announce that you can now find it in the Care Box library, and on the member’s home page.
The issue of unfair assessments for NHS Continuing Health Care has unfortunately been going on for years. Here at My Care Consultant we continue to see (and help with) situations where the correct assessment procedures have not been properly followed or implemented, to the detriment of our clients.
